The small mountain town of Soller is charming and unspoilt, dominated by a lovely 16th Century church and alive with open squares, outdoor cafes and restaurants. The house we have to rent here is just outside the town, about ten minutes away by foot, situated in a peaceful and idyllic location with dramatic views. It is stone-built, on two floors, and with green wooden shutters.

Inside it is comfortably furnished, with stone tiled floors and high-beamed ceilings. All the ground floor rooms open onto a very pretty terrace, shaded by a pergola and furnished for alfresco dining or drinks. Beyond this is a large lawned garden with trees, hammocks and an 8m x 8m swimming pool, surrounded by a stone sun terrace, and views over the orange groves and mountains. There are portable air-conditioning units for two of the bedrooms.

Ground Floor:

• Sitting/dining room with fireplace and well equipped kitchen with doors opening onto pretty terrace with outdoor dining area
• Twin bedroom with en suite shower room and doors to terrace

First Floor:

• Two twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms
• Master bedroom with four-poster bed, large windows, en suite dressing room and bathroom with bath, separate shower, double basin and WC.

Soller ten mins walk, Puerto de Soller ten mins drive, Deja 20 mins, Palma (airport) 45 mins. Maid service two hours a day, five days a week.
