In the same local family as the wonderful Ca'n Busqueroles, Ca Na Sureda enjoys a marvellous location perched on a gentle hillside and, as such, privileged to the most commanding sea views from its poolside and covered dining terrace. Looking out across open countryside, the stunning vista encompasses Albufereta National Park, the La Victoria headland, Cap de Ferrutx and broad sweeping Bay of Pollença. In common with its sister property, the grounds at Ca Na Sureda are a notable feature. Beautifully landscaped and looked after with care and pride they are home to sculpted hedgerows, mature palm tress, rockeries of cactii and various colourful shrubs. Beyond the property's immediate environs a total of 9½ acres of land belongs to the house, the majority planted with wild grasses and various almond, carob and olive trees. Internally, Ca Na Sureda is comfortable and very spacious offering everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The long living/dining room runs the width of the house, with the kitchen on one side separated by an American bar. Double doors lead out directly onto the dining terrace and appear to bring the marvellous sweeping views right into the house itself. This location offers the best of both worlds, being essentially rural, yet within easy distance of various sandy beaches, the walled enclave of Old Alcúdia with its cosmopolitan Sunday market, the port and Roman town of Pollença, and the Albufera/Albufereta National Parks. The surrounding landscape of hills, farmland and open countryside is well known to birdwatchers for species such as terns, warblers, kestrels and ospreys, as well as migrating herons and cranes visiting the nearby wildlife sanctuaries.
