Standing in the vineyards of Manilva, Bacchus is 2km from the Mediterranean coast, surrounded by hills and valleys and reached by a short rough track. A Roman settlement was once here and part of the old aqueduct still remains next to the house. The property and pool are built to a high standard and have a secluded feeling, since they are surrounded on three sides by oleander bushes.
Enjoy the restaurants and bars of the marinas like Puerto de la Duquesa along the coastline, or venture to the country ventas of Manilva, Casares and the mountain villages on the way to Gaucin.

This house has a very welcoming atmosphere with its beamed ceilings and wood floors. The downstairs is open plan. Patio doors lead out of the sitting area to the front covered terrace, a lovely place for breakfasting. From the dining/kitchen area doors lead out to the pool terrace. There is comfortable seating around a wood burning stove, a round dining table and chairs, and in the kitchen, a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator; the washing machine is in a utility room outside. There is a cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs are two double bedrooms each with lovely views: one has a king size bed, the other has twin beds, or a double bed if requested in advance. Both bedrooms have dormer ceilings and tiled floors plus each has its own shower room/WC.
The pool terrace at the back of the house is surrounded by shrubs and oleander bushes and backed by hills. The swimming pool is 8m x 4m with a Roman end and steps down; the depth is from 1.15m to 2m. The terrace has a barbecue and is walled all round; it is a great place to relax.
