An excellent base from which to explore and a beautiful house to return to at the end of the day, Quinta da Relva is bursting with character and cosiness. Its private pool, surrounded by a sun terrace, is perfect for lazy days. The house is positioned in a very secluded and quiet location, yet within easy reach of several shops and restaurants. A drive through olive and eucalyptus groves leads you to this peaceful retreat.

On the ground floor is the open-plan kitchen/dining room which leads through to the sitting room with a high, wood-beamed ceiling, an old fireplace and a stereo. There is also a separate shower room.

A wooden staircase leads up to the landing, which is the original hayloft, overlooking the sitting room. On the first floor there is a spacious double bedroom with private terrace and a twin bedroom. These two bedrooms share a separate bathroom.

The private Swimming pool (10 x 5m), has built-in corner steps and is surrounded by terracing furnished with sun loungers, and lawned gardens. Surrounding trees make the area very private and the gardens boast an array of colourful flowers. In a shady spot under vines and wisteria, a granite dining table is the attractive setting for al fresco feasts, and there is a barbecue.

Facilities: Washing machine, telephone, CD player.

Staff: Maid service included for 4 hours, 3 days per week. Pool towels provided.
Please Note: the villa is accessed by 2km of unsurfaced road, not suitable for low slung cars.
