Fully refurbished by its French owners, the Horta do Cano offers high standards of carefully planned comfort, its gardens, stepped into the hillside, surround a house with warm terracotta walls and encompass a well placed swimming pool and ample outdoor space to simply sit and think (…or sometimes simply sit…)

There are stunning views from various vantage points and there is little to disturb your reverie. Reached by a fairly rough track, the villa is secluded but not reclusive – as one or two other houses share the area and the shops, restaurants and traditional bars of Monchique are within easy reach. With three bedrooms in the main house and two in the separate guest annex behind the house, the villa is adaptable for sizeable family holidays or mixed groups of friends. A lovely setting to enjoy the calm and breathe the country air.

Upper level: Raised dining area, Kitchen, Laundry room, Cloakroom.

Lower level: Sitting room, Double bedroom with bathroom en suite and study. Double/twin bedroom with shower en suite, Twin bedroom, Bathroom, WC.

Annexe: 2 twin bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, Cloakroom, Kitchenette.  

Please Note: Only the bathroom en suite to the master bedroom has a WC.

Facilities: Washing machine, Dishwasher, Television, DVD player, Music system, Telephone, Fax, Barbecue, Heating (on request, payable locally).

Swimming pool: solar heated, 9 x 4.5m

Staff: Maid service 3 hours, 5 days a week.
