Parque da Floresta is an exclusive resort in the unspoilt Western Algarve, approx 15 mins drive to the west of Lagos. Access to this area is now easy and quick, but the region remains relatively undeveloped, with uncrowded beaches and dramatic scenery. Lagos itself, with culture and history dating back to Roman times, is a vibrant, but traditional town, whose cobbled streets bustle with pavement restaurants, cafes and stylish shops. The resort of Parque da Floresta stands on the boundaries of the Costa Vincentina Nature Reserve and encompasses one of the Algarve’s most picturesque and challenging 18-hole golf courses. Other on-site activities include tennis and bowls. Horse riding can be arranged within the neighbouring Nature Reserve and scuba diving and other water sports can also be arranged from the resort. Parque da Floresta offers two large outdoor communal pools, one of which is located by the exclusive Spa Floresta, where a wide variety of treatments are available. Within the resort is a selection of dining options, ranging from snack bars offering drinks and light lunches to two restaurants offering international cuisine in the evenings.

Accommodation at Parque da Floresta is available in two or three bedroomed village houses  with shared pool or in three or four bedroomed spacious villas, set in their own gardens with private swimming pool. All properties are equipped to a very high standard, offering modern and well-equipped kitchens with washing machine, dishwasher and microwave, comfortable furnishings throughout and satellite TV. Villas and townhouses are privately-owned, so layout and décor can vary by property and most properties are on two floors.
