With lovely views over vines and woodland, Villa Santa Caterina is set in a panoramic position on a private country estate just 30 minutes south of Pisa. This is an unknown pocket of Tuscany that sees few tourists but is an excellent location from which to visit picturesque local villages, Pisa, Volterra, Lucca, Florence and the coast. 

The villa is a great choice for children. The pool and tennis court are set in extensive lawned gardens amongst fruit and olive trees at the rear of the property. At the front of the villa, there is a long, shady grassy avenue of shady maritime pines - again an ideal spot for games.

The pool is set down a path in lawned gardens amongst fruit and olive tree some 150 m from the house. The lawned avenue at the front of the property is shaded by maritime pines and ideal for games.

Note 1: The owners live in their farmhouse with one young child  behind the chapel at the end of the avenue of maritime pines some 150 - 200 m from Villa Santa Caterina. This farmhouse cannot be seen from Santa Caterina (as it is behind the chapel). They occasionally use the pool and tennis court. The grounds are very extensive so privacy of guests is not compromised.

Note 2: There is a further simple two bedroomed first floor apartment 20 - 30 m close to the owners house that can be used for accommodation (up to 12) for larger parties. Price on request.
