Set in secluded and peaceful location in dramatic wooded countryside between San Miniato and Volterra, Le Ferrine has been beautifully restored by craftsmen to offer a most comfortable and attractive holiday home.

A terracotta terrace runs the full width of the villa and guests can enjoy delicious Tuscan specialities under the pergola. The gardens with lavender bushes, distinctive verdant cypresses, fir trees, and other mature trees lead gently to the pool nestling in a sheltered spot with geraniums in terracotta pots adding colour. From here there are idyllic views over the surrounding countryside with patchwork cornfields, olive groves and vineyards beautiful panoramic views of the country.

Within easy reach of local facilities, villages, restaurants, airports and a selection of picturesque Tuscan towns, Le Ferrine is an ideal base for two families looking for a secluded but not isolated base from which to tour this region.

Much of the ground floor is taken up by a large sitting room with dining area with beautifully restored brick vaulted ceiling and decorated in bright country style with rugs, country pieces and a large contemporary mirror. This is a magnificent luminous space - an ideal spot for games or quiet reading. At this level there is also a most attractive sitting room with pretty country furniture, large Tuscan fireplace and pretty china lamps. There is also a well-equipped kitchen at this level. At first floor level there are three twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom and a double bedroom with bathroom en suite.
