Painted a warm pink colour in typical local style, Ilaria nestles amongst lovely countryside which is dotted with hamlets and 19th century villas, just 15 kms south of Pisa. The farmhouse has recently been restored by its owners, who rent their charming home during the summer months.

At ground floor level there is a large and a small sitting room both opening out to the terraces and gardens, and a dining room. These rooms are furnished in a traditional elegant Italian style with comfortable sofas, country pieces, some antiques and many beautiful prints, water-colours and paintings. At this level there is also a kitchen and shower room. At first floor level there is a further sitting room with fire-place and French windows opening out to a small balcony. There is also a double bedroom with bathroom en suite and a further double and a twin bedroom sharing a bathroom. All these rooms have views out over the gardens and are also decorated in this personal traditional style with many photographs, small paintings and prints on the walls.

Guests can sit out under the trees near the house. The pool with Roman steps is set into a secluded spot in the lawned gardens with chairs, sunbeds and umbrella.
