Set in beautiful enclosed walled gardens just outside the centre of the medieval village of Cevoli, this elegant Tuscan villa has been beautifully restored by master craftsmen.

The entrance leads into an elegant vaulted entrance hall with antique Tuscan chests. The reception rooms all radiate off this entrance hall. There are two sitting/TV rooms and a further spacious formal sitting room with large antique fireplace, prints, paintings, grand piano and ample sofas and amrchairs. There is also a beautiful light dining room with prints and Venetian glass chandelier. Keen cooks will love the large and most attractive kitchen with dresser with pretty china and all modern appliances. All these rooms are decorated in rich country colours with elegant curtains and upholstery.

A staircase leads up to a beautiful first floor salone with high ceilings and frescoes. There is a further large sitting room at this level with a full size billard table - an ideal spot for games and escaping from the heat. The five elegant, spacious and very comfortable bedrooms all have their own individual colour schemes in inviting rich colours of yellow, coral, red and greens. All bedrooms have panoramic views over the gardens, village and countryside. A blue bedroom has a beautiful trompe d'oeil mural. The craftsmen have retained further portions of a fresco in another bedroom. Three bedrooms have shower rooms en suite. The two other bedrooms share a bathroom with beautiful blue and white tiles and double sinks.

French windows lead out from most of the ground floor reception rooms to the driveway and walled gardens with terraces, gardens with mature trees and shrubs. An extensive panoramic terrace runs the width of one side of the villa with dining furniture and flowers in terracotta pots. On the opposite side of the villa, the new pool with steps is set into the enclosed lawned gardens with a magnolia and other trees providing shade and further dining and sun furniture. The pool is bordered by flower beds with roses, rosemary and sage. These terraces are ideal spots to enjoy the housekeeper's delicious Tuscan meals.

The sleepy village of Cevoli with bar, shops, bank is just outside the walled garden. A supermarket is within 2 km and Casciana Terme with spa centres with indoor and outdoor thermal pools and wide beauty treatments is within 5 kms. Guests can sample delicious Tuscan local specialities at local restaurants in other hill villages or dotted around the countryside and visit local estates producing good red wine and olive oil. Cevoli is within the province of Pisa and is no more than 45 minutes from Pisa airport. The coastal resorts of Castiglioncello and Viareggio with beaches and swimming and seafood restaurants from which to admire the passeggiata are within one hour as are the famous Italian art cities of Florence, Lucca and San Gimignano.
