Tourist complex situated in the hills overlooking the Arno valley, consisting of a large 18th century villa/farm, whose origins date back to the 13th century, and a farmhouse. It has all been recently restored and converted into 48 holiday apartments. Extensive views over the valley (woods and olive trees). Very peaceful position. Pets allowed at extra-charge. Location: 2 km the village of Pelago (food shops), 25 km Florence, 80 km Siena. Facilities: equipped spacious lawns, irregular shaped swimming-pool (approx. 20x10), tennis, reception room in the villa with a small bar. Telephone in every apartment (direct outgoing calls, incoming calls when the operator is present). Parking. Farmhouse cooking with typical Tuscan menus (closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Bicycles for hire. Farm produce for sale. Possibility of horse riding excursions at the Castellonchio farm (same owner) 9 km away and taking part in various cultural and gastronomic events. Extras to be paid on the spot: tennis; telephone; baby-beds (21 Euro/week), linen included; pets 28 Euro/week/dog and 20 Euro/week/cat.
