Known predominantly for its wine (production is around 22,000 bottles a year), the estate also produces grappa and high grade olive oil. Clients are naturally invited to a tasting during their stay and a tour of the cellars.
The villa itself is built over three floors and is spacious (about 900 m²) and very stylishly furnished throughout. The grounds are planted with oak, olive and cypress trees, whilst there is also a large fig tree on the terrace that affords shade when dining outside. The swimming pool is in a private corner of the grounds located amongst olive trees; a shady refuge in which to relax.
Nearby Florence is naturally easily accessible, however in order to avoid the challenge of finding parking in the city, there is a bus route that runs from near the entrance of the estate to the city centre. Florence is one of Italy' s major centres of renaissance art and is a great city for walking and enjoying the sights, perhaps with a little designer shopping before relaxing in one of its many trattoria or restaurants. Impruneta is the closest village to the estate, just 1 mile away and has a variety of shops and restaurants.
