The Bellavista is located on the Tuscan-Umbrian border, amongst the green hills of the Niccone valley. There are fantastic views from the terrace and poolside across the valley below in this serene and peaceful location.
The house is located amongst some twenty hectares of woodland and pasture at the end of a quiet country track with just the unobtrusive owners living nearby, some fifty yards away. The décor is light and airy with neutral pastel colours, tiled floors and stone archways. There is a built in BBQ, small terrace and a covered pergola by the pool so warm summer evenings relaxing with an aperitivo or dining alfresco await, alternatively for cooler days there is a working fireplace ensuring this house is available year round.
Due to its position on the side of a hill, we do not recommend this property for small children as the garden area slopes somewhat in places. The pool is accessed by steps going down.
The house is about one kilometre from the main road and is well located for exploring the surrounding towns of Cortona, Perugia and Montepulciano. Beautiful Lake Trasimeno is just half an hour' s drive whilst the fascinating historical cities of Siena and Assisi are comfortable day trips.
