Borgo al Cerro is an extremely beautiful country house situated half way up a hill from where you have a 360° view over the countryside. At the top of the hill is Casole d’Elsa (4.2 km away,various shops), a Medieval town that is also just 800mt away on foot along a very ancient road. 10.8 km Colle Val d’Elsa, 21 km San Gimignano, 30 km Volterra, 35 km Siena and 1 hour away by car Florence. The building has been carefully restored, a large part of the original materials were used and 12 holiday apartments have been created, each one is different from the other and they are built over various levels, in accordance with the architectural structure of the building. All the apartments have a safe and have their own private outdoor area. The two largest apartments have been made from the former hayloft that is situated a few metres away from the main building. Around the property are large equipped grassy areas with barbecue and a lovely shared swimming pool (10x20) with jacuzzi and a small cottage with changing room and WC. Peaceful and relaxing position. The equipment and furniture are pleasant and practical. Cot available. You can rent: mountain bikes, beach towels for use at the pool, additional bed linen etc. Shared laundry with washing machine. There is a small restaurant on the estate which is for the guests use and that of the owners only. Upon request and against payment breakfast can be provided. It is possible to book CERRO C1 and C3 together (the 2 apartments can communicate) under the name CERRO C4. Central heating.
