Taking its name from the range of hills that shelter this secluded corner of the Peloponnese, Dapia enjoys a gently elevated position from where magnificent sweeping views over the surrounding countryside to the coastline that borders the famously scenic Bay of Navarino can be enjoyed. The house is chaperoned by a dense ring of olive groves, a fruit for which the area is world renowned. Internally, wood beamed ceilings, complemented by attractive, comfortable furniture and pretty fabrics catch the eye. A balcony, shared by the living room and one of the bedrooms overlooks the pool area and provides the ideal spot from which to absorb the splendid panorama ahead of you. While the opportunity to swim and relax in this impressively scenic setting is undoubtedly enticing do find time to explore the beautiful coastline and nearby beaches. Golden Beach (3km) and Voidhokilia (4.5km) are both gorgeous while the sandy shoreline at Gialova village (1.5km) also has good amenities including grocery stores, cafes and several traditional seafront tavernas. A ten minute drive around Navarino Bay brings you to Pylos where the terraced cafes lining the harbourfront and the main square provide a perfect excuse to sip a frappe and idle away an hour or two. Visit the imposing medieval, hilltop castle of Neokastro or, indeed, any of the many well preserved fortresses found all along the coastline (Methoni and Koroni are two of the better known) to be rewarded with yet more breathtaking views.
