Situated two kilometres from the charming Luberon village of Bonnieux, this 18th Century bastide has been beautifully restored with much taste and style having preserved many original features. In the area there are many activities such as music festivals in Avignon, Orange and Arles, tennis, golf, hiking , biking and horseriding. Weekly markets can be found at the nearby delightful villages of Lacoste, Menerbes, Loumarin and Rousillon. The house is enclosed in a terraced garden with magnificient over the Luberon valley and neighbouring villages. The swimming pool is on a lower level ( 12 x 4 m) and is surrounded by a terrace with high quality sun loungers from which to enjoy the spectacular views. Due to the steep steps by the pool, and some unprotected drops, we do not feel this house would be suitable for small children.
