This typical Provencal villa with its Mediterranean garden sits in a quiet area near the village of Le Pradet, some 15km east of Toulon. The house is particularly well situated being only 300 metres from the pebbly and sandy beach of les Oursinières with its little fishing port behind with cafés and restaurants. For more restaurants and basic shopping the charming small port of la Garonne is only 600 metres away. Moreover, the centre of Le Pradet is just 3km. During your stay you can treat yourself to an outside table under the stars at Le Corto restaurant just 100 metres away. From the beach of les Oursinières, you can walk along the path “Le sentier du littoral” that follows the coast and reaches the long sandy beach of la Garonne in 20 minutes. Further along this walk are the superb beaches or creeks of Les Bonnettes, Le Monaco and le Pin de Galles, the last one being about 50 minutes walk.
The wine route from Le Pradet through La Londe to Bormes les Mimosas will give you the opportunity to taste some very good Rosé such as Clos Cibonne in Le Pradet or Domaine Ott. To the west you can drive along the coast to reach Toulon with its daily market and large shopping area in the old town. To the east you are 5km from Carqueiranne with the Almanarre beach renowned as a windsurfing spot. At la Tour Fondue, which is at the extremity of the Presqu’île de Giens - some 20km away, you can take the ferry boat to get to the 3 golden Islands (Porquerolles, Port Cros and Le Levant). Further along, the coastline to St Tropez goes through lovely villages such as Bormes les Mimosas and Cogolin.
An iron gate opens onto the enclosed property of 2500m² with a garage for 2 cars available. The entrance to the main house is through a double wooden door into the flourishing and hidden garden with terrace, a large swimming pool (12m x 6m – depth 1.2m to 3m) equipped with outdoor shower, wc and fridge. Next to it is a covered terrace with built-in barbecue, table and chairs; behind is a side garden with ping-pong table. From the terrace with its pergola covered with Virginia creeper you enter into the entrance hall. To the left is a large sitting room with sofas, armchairs, fireplace, TV with DVD player and sliding door to the side garden; to the right is the separate dining room with fireplace and a door to the utility room with washing machine and freezer. The kitchen is accessible through the utility room and the entrance hall; it is fully equipped wand includes dishwasher and microwave plus table and chairs to seat 8. To the left of the kitchen a door give access to an elevator (for luggage only) leading to the bedrooms upstairs.
From the entrance hall a staircase rises to the upper part of the house with a large hall with a piano and two large single bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, plus two bathroom/wc’s on the right. To the left, are two double bedrooms sharing a lovely terrace, one of which has air-conditioning. There are also a bathroom/wc, a small shower room and a separate wc. In the property is also a brand new separate studio area with a fitted kitchenette with dishwasher and washing machine plus a sitting/dining area; a dividing wall separates this from a double bedroom. Behind is a shower room and separate wc.
The owners leave 3 bicycles at your disposal plus access to internet broadband. Outside July and August there are special reduced rates if 6 or less clients stay at the property, in which case the studio, 2 single bedrooms and 1 double bedroom remain locked.
