Set just below the road, the house is about half a mile from basic shops in Chateauneuf-Grasse. Grasse, famous for its perfumes and with a wide choice of shops is three miles away. There is a good road down to the coast at Villeneuve-Loubet giving easy access to the motorway and so to Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo and Italy. There is a wide choice of famous beaches within easy reach and inland you are soon in spectacular mountainous countryside.

Set in about half an acre of terraced gardens below the house (small children should be supervised) where you can help yourselves to fruit off the various fruit trees in season. Directly in front of the house is the large paved terrace and enclosed kidney shaped swimming pool (8x4m) There are sun awnings and a large covered terrace to one side of the house. Plenty of garden furniture. From the terrace there are lovely views across the pool with uninterrupted glimpses of the Mediterranean beyond.

All on one level, there is a pleasant open-plan living/dining room with French windows onto the terrace , and with rattan furniture, table and chairs, television (UKChannels , Freeview) and DVD player. Off this is the pretty kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/ireezer, dishwasher and microwave. Four bedrooms, one double, two twin s (beds can be pushed together to make doubles)and a bunkroom. Bathroom with wc and basin. Shower room with washing machine and basin and separate wc. Bed linen included.
