This wonderful old Bonnieux village house is located in the heart of the picturesque village with magnificent views across the village rooftops to the Luberon National Park.
Built into the hillside and set on 3 levels, it is simply furnished yet cosy, welcoming and fully equipped. This is one of our villas in Provence most ideally suited for an idyllic Provencal holiday exploring the delightful medieval villages of the Luberon region.
The floodlit castle at Lacoste, once the property of the Marquis de Sade and now being refurbished by Pierre Cardin, is a beautiful sight at night. The best market in the region can be found in Apt on a Saturday morning and Bonnieux hosts it's own market on Fridays. The stone ramparts of Gordes, ochre cliffs of Rousillon and the high peak of Mont Ventoux are all waiting to be discovered. All this against a backdrop of lavender and sunflower fields, vineyards, orchards and groves of olive trees. And in the evening, leave the car behind and stroll from this Bonnieux village house to one of the restaurants in the village to sample the local cuisine - accompanied, of course, by a good local wine!
