Situated just below the village of Rustrel at the eastern end of the Luberon Valley, L'Oustau des Oliviers enjoys sweeping countryside views towards the Colorado Hills, yet a short stroll of 500m will bring you into the heart of the village with its ochre coloured buildings that echo the distinctive hues of the hills in the surrounding area. L'Oustau des Oliviers has many pretty Provençal touches; pale blue shutters against the yellow walls, the light and airy interior with typical local fabrics, and the olive trees in the garden. A covered terrace, ideal for al fresco eating, and the pool area situated just below the house complete the picture. Rustrel provides all basic amenities and a choice of restaurants. Should you choose to explore further, Apt, a small bustling town with a lively outdoor market every Saturday, is 10km away, whilst the little country roads take you through the olive grove and vineyard dotted landscape to villages such as Roussillon (20km), Bonnieux (23km), Cereste (19km), and Murs (24km).
