Furnished with antiques and many objets d' art, this priory retains many of its original features, such as the circular stone staircase, wooden floors and beamed ceilings.
La Tour Ancienne is situated within the grounds of the Priory but has its own private garden and plunge pool. The gardens are interconnecting allowing the possibility to book the properties together.There are no longer any village facilities in Pressigny near this villa in the Vendee, but the old church bell still sets the pace for the locals with an hourly chime. Life here is relaxed with an emphasis on good food and wine. The area is open to exploration, within striking distance of the Atlantic coast and La Rochelle, the Chateaux of the Loire Valley, or the wine growing regions of the Dordogne.
