The coastal towns offer local dishes of Dieppe Sole and Normandy Oysters. Half a mile from Vue sur Seine is a good Manor House restaurant.
Rouen is a lively city with an active river port and many historical buildings. Visit the Joan of Arc Museum or the Museum of Fine Arts. 23 miles south is Giverny, site of the Monet house and water gardens. Other places of interest for visitors include the Parc Naturale Regionale des Boucles de la Foret de Brotonne, the town of Les Andelys with its chateau on a island in the Seine, Pont-de-l'Arche and the beautiful village of Forges-les-Eaux. Ground floor: Living room, double bedroom (1.60m) , bathroom , WC. A discreet caretaker lives on the first floor of the cottage which has a separate entrance. He has a friendly dog, which can be kept separately within the grounds.
Grounds: Large level lawn with swings and separate, fenced pool area. Dining terrace, covered pergola, barbecue, direct access to river tow path.
