Ferme de la Haye sits within the grounds of a beautiful Chateau in the heart of Normandy, near the quaint port town of Honfleur and the Victorian town of Deauville, famed for its casinos and nowadays, annual film festival and horse racing.

The farmhouse has been completely rebuilt, retaining only the original wooden frame but using traditional materials and techniques to ensure the charm of the original remains, whilst offering modern comfort and convenience.

Situated just outside the small village of St Maclou-la-Campagne and only 3 minutes drive from the market town of Beuzeville, it is well placed to visit all the sights of Normandy, including the landing beaches, Bayeux tapestry and Monet’s house and garden at Giverny.

There is a strong horse racing tradition in this part of Normandy, the focal point being the racecourse in Deauville. Normandy cuisine is famous throughout the world, especially the cheeses such as Camembert, Livarot and Pont l'Eveque, and the local apple brandy known as Calvados. There are excellent markets in Honfleur on Saturday, Trouville on Sunday and Pont Audemer on Monday. There is a choice of first class golf courses within 30 minutes drive.

First floor: Via internal staircase – Double bedroom (1.50m), ensuite bathroom, WC. Twin bedroom (2 x 0.90m). Twin/double (0.90m + 0.70m or 1.60m double), separate shower room, WC. Via external, covered staircase only – this is not suitable for children as there is only a handrail and no bars for protection: Double bedroom (1.60m), ensuite bathroom, WC.

Grounds: Large private, enclosed garden and outdoor dining terrace within the parkland of a 17th century chateau. No pool. No barbecues allowed.
