Roughly equidistant from the villages of Cuves and St Pois both just over a mile away, the latter with good everyday shops and bars, and about five miles from Brécey for more extensive shopping, with the larger towns of Villedieu les Poeles, Vire and Avranches all under 15 miles away. For eating out, the highly recommended restaurant, Le Moulin de Jean, is conveniently situated just a pleasant ten minute walk away. The forest of St Sever for lovely walks is a short drive away, with golf and sailing at the Lac de Dathée. About half an hour to the sandy beaches of the Cotentin with Le Mont St Michel slightly further.

Set to one side of the large orchard garden of the friendly resident English owners, with fields on all sides, the detached cottage has its own private area of garden with garden furniture and barbecue.

Spacious for two and very comfortably furnished inside. Pretty half timbered sitting/dining room with sofa and armchairs around the large open fireplace and dining table and chairs. Modern fitted kitchen with electric cooker with rotisserie, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Upstairs, a wood beamed double bedroom and bathroom with wc. Firewood at extra cost payable locally.
