Roughly equidistant from the villages of Le Mesnil Gilbert and Cherencé le Roussel, both under a mile away, the latter with local shop, bakery and bar. More shops and weekly market five miles away in Brécey, or in Sourdeval, a similar distance. A good choice of restaurants in the area, including the ‘gastronomic’ Moulin de Jean at Cuves or the excellent value Auberge du Moulin at Brouains. Close to the Forest of Sever for woodland walks, with the Lake of Dathée nearby for golf and sailing. The sandy beaches of the Cotentin and Le Mont St Michel are within easy reach.
Set in a garden which is enclosed by fence and hedges, with lovely views across the surrounding fields, and with garden furniture, barbecue and garage.
Recently redecorated, newly furnished and well equipped, the cottage has, on the ground floor, a comfortable sitting room with two sofas, fireplace with wood burner and TV (Sky channels) with DVD player, a large kitchen with dining table and chairs, gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine, and a separate wc.
