Bayeux with its tapestry is a short drive away, as are the World War II landing beaches and William the Conqueror’s castle at Falaise. A few miles to the south is the area of outstanding natural beauty known as the “Suisse Normande”, ideal for walking, climbing, fishing and canoeing amongst other activities.
