Situated about half a mile outside the small village of Gathemo, La Sejannerie sits in an idyllic spot within a small rural hamlet surrounded by the picturesque Normandy bocage. The village has a bakers shop and general store/tabac/bar. Sourdeval is about four miles away with more extensive shopping, and facilities and the large town of Vire is just six miles away for supermarkets, restaurants and various tourist and leisure activities. The forest of St Sever is close by offering beautiful woodland walks and cycle tracks and the Lac de Dathée is only two miles away for sailing, watersports, horseriding and the Vire Golf Club along the lakeside. About 40 minutes’ drive to the coast at Granville and 45 minutes to Mont St Michel. The D-Day landing beaches are also within easy reach.

Surrounded by an enclosed spacious garden dotted with Calvados apple trees with off-road parking. Trampoline for children to one side, and to the other a fully enclosed swimming pool (8.5x3.2m) with sun loungers and pool house. Garden furniture, parasol and barbecue on the terrace.

Lounge with comfortable sofa and chairs, TV/DVD (UK free-to-air digital channels) and French windows opening out onto the terrace. Downstairs shower room with basin and wc, also housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs to three tastefully furnished bedrooms; two doubles and a twin and a bath/shower room with basin and wc. Beside the landing an area with double sized futon and TV, PlayStation 2 console and games. Electricity included up to 70kw per week. Bed linen and towels available at extra cost payable locally.
