Les Epices is the east wing of a large country villa, built in 1843, of stone with striking red brick detail.

Set on a hillside, close to woodland in the delightful Haute Garonne countryside, this traditional farmhouse has been beautifully renovated to provide a luxury holiday retreat.

The local area is well served by country restaurants, and the nearby traditional town of Villefranche de Lauragais has a weekly market. There are lakes close by, offering various water sports, as well as popular trips on the Canal du Midi.

Les Epices is only available from September to June with use of the pool shared with the west wing ( La Canelle).
In July & August the 2 properties can only be booked together as Lauragaise. Each wing is completely independent with it’s own access.

This is a no smoking property – although smoking is permitted outside. The discreet owners live in the gatehouse at the entrance to the grounds and are available to help if required. They can also provide full catering or gourmet meal service.

Ground floor: Living room, open fireplace (TV/DVD/CD) leading to sun lounge with doors onto terrace with dining for 6. Dining room, table and chairs for 10, French doors to terrace with outdoor dining for 8. Kitchen. Two guest WC.
First floor: Master double/twin bedroom (1.80m or 2x0.90m), French doors to private balcony with table and chairs, ensuite bathroom, WC. Twin/double bedroom (2x0.90m or 1.80m), ensuite bathroom, WC. Double/twin bedroom (1.60m or 2x0.80m), gallery dressing/seating area, door to balcony with table and chairs, ensuite shower, WC. Family bedroom sleeping 4 (1x1.40m double, 2x0.90m twins, which can also be made as 1.80m double), large, lofted room, Velux windows, ensuite shower, WC.
Grounds: Private, mature garden. Children's swings (use at own risk).

Maid service: 3 hours per week included (1hr 30mins x 2 mornings)
Extras: Telephone/dial-up internet. Heating € 30 per day, wood for fire. Chef available on request.
