“Domaine de la Maison Rouge” is an impressive property, built in 1810 using the typical red brick of Toulouse. It is situated just outside the village of Tarabel, flanked by two towers and a dovecote, surrounded by a hectare of grounds with distant view of the Pyrenees. It has been restored in keeping with its original style which is complimented by comfortable furnishings and decor. A terrace which overlooks the pool spans the south side of the house, shaded by splendid old trees. The surrounding countryside has earned the nickname “Little Tuscany” due to its rolling hills. Visit Castelnaudary, home of the famous “Cassoulet” dish, the medieval walled town of Carcassonne, hire a boat on Canal du Midi, or visit the opera at Toulouse.

Kitchen/dining room with exposed brick walls, french doors to terrace and garden, mezzanine office, billards room. Master bedroom (1.80m) garden views, ensuite bathroom. First floor: Children’s room with 3 single beds, shower room, double/twin bedroom (2 x 0.90m).
Studio: 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4. Living/dining room, fitted kitchen /Breakfast room, double bedroom (1.80m) ensuite bathroom, garden views. Mezzanine office, double bedroom (1.60m) and one extra bed (0.90m), shower room.
Grounds: Private pool, barbecue, extensive terracing. Delightful garden with mature trees, shrubs and pretty flower beds, table tennis and swings.

Maid service: 2 hours 5 times a week included.
