The house has been recently extensively renovated whilst retaining all its original character. It sits in spacious grounds with fruit trees and has views to the south across the valley to Degagnac. The village of Salviac is about five minutes drive and provides three restaurants, two boulangeries, shops, tennis courts and a fine gothic church with a marvellous stone roof. It is about midway between the Lot and Dordogne valleys though closer to the latter. The ground continues to rise behind the house and on the other side of the hill lies the enchanting Céou valley whose stream, sometimes a trickle during the height of the summer, flows past Bouzic and Daglan down to the Dordogne at Castelnaud. 
Sarlat is just over 30km away, about half an hour by car. There are also many little villages to explore such as Cazals with its excellent Sunday market, Gourdon, and Villefranche du Perigord’s mushroom market.

The spacious kitchen is entered from the garden and is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and conventional cooker, plus table and chairs to seat 6.  Glazed double doors lead through to a beamed sitting room with sofa, armchairs, large fireplace, a TV, CD player and French windows that open onto the garden; off the room is  a separate WC. Two steps bring you to the dining room with table and chairs for 8 plus sofa, armchair and coffee table. Stairs rise to the first floor and the landing off which are three light and airy bedrooms; one is a double with ensuite bathroom/wc, each of the other two have twin beds and share a second bathroom/wc.   

Outside, through the orchard and down wide steps, is a 10m x 5m swimming pool with steps.
