This Tarn et Garonne villa, once an old bakehouse, is situated in the 13th century fortified village of Montjoi, next to the village church where the bells still chime on the hour.
It has been sympathetically restored and furnished to a particularly high standard, incorporating such antique delights as the original bread oven, into a luxurious, well equipped villa. This Tarn et Garonne villa with heated indoor pool also benefits from air conditioned rooms.
The village of Montjoi no longer has any amenities, but St. Maurin nearby offers a village shop, post office and restaurant/bar. The larger town of Valence d' Agen has a traditional weekly market and a wider choice of facilities.
The Tarn et Garonne countryside, with its fields of bright sunflowers, is dotted with traditional bastide villages - the views from the top of Lauzerte, Montcuq and Tournon d' Agenais are worth the climb! Cahors is a large bustling market town on the River Lot. Both Montauban and Toulouse offer theatres, cinemas and good restaurants
