Pretty village of Catus is around 10 min drive and has shops, restaurant, riding, tennis and recreational lake with sandy beach, swimming, fishing, pedalo boats and 2 on-site restaurants. Canoeing centre at Caïx on river Lot, 30 min drive, where bikes can also be hired. Dramatic ruined château of Bonaguil hosts a summer theatre and concert festival in July and is 35 min drive. Some of the Lot’s most attractive towns and villages are within 1 hour drive – historic Cahors and surrounding wine-growing region, stunning cliff setting of Rocamadour, the pilgrimage centre, and hilltop Domme with lovely views over the Dordogne river. Attractive mix of farmland and woods set in rolling hills makes for an ideal environment for walking, riding or cycling. International airports: Rodez 115 km/Toulouse 130 km.
