Description
Riaillé is two miles away for basic shopping and Saint Mars la Jaillé is five miles away for more extensive shopping. Close by is something of interest to everyone. Chateaubriant (15 miles) has a château, an interesting town centre and weekly open market. Ancenis, a pleasant town 10 miles away, has a château and an 18 hole golf course. The mediaeval châteaux in Nantes and Angers are worth a day’s visit. Amongst other attractions are the abbey of Mailleraye and the Roman remains of Couffé. La Baule or Pornic only 50 miles away, are ideal for a day at the seaside.
Delightful 12 acre grounds with a small lake with ducks and geese. Shared with another ten cottages, the swimming pool (11x6m) is covered for cool days and opened in the summer, with sun loungers shared with the other properties on the estate. One of the other properties, the Maison du Boulanger, LO 7637 sleeping 4/6 people, is also featured with Just France. The Lake of La Provostière (200 acres) is ideal for carp anglers (permits available at reception). Two other lakes in the vicinity. The Manoir du Forgeron has its own private garden/terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Swings and table tennis.

Close to the pool, the spacious Manor is beautifully decorated. Large dining room with farmhouse table, large kitchen range and dishwasher concealed in a cupboard. Back kitchen with fridge, sink, kettle, cafetiere and plenty of space to prepare food. Large sitting room with fireplace and separate wc. Up stone stairs to five large, nicely decorated bedrooms with en suite bathroom and wc: three doubles, one twin and one triple. Washing machine and dryer. Terrace facing the park and private terrace to the rear, pleasant for breakfast in the morning sun. Electricity payable locally in low season. Bed linen and a large towel per person included. Beds made on arrival.
