Description
Ballée is only five minutes away for basic shopping. All shops, supermarkets and services can be found in the pretty town of Sablé sur Sarthe about six miles away. From Sablé sur Sarthe, take the famous Sarthe river valley up to the Abbey of Solesme and Malicorne. There are many pretty villages and towns with their own châteaux to discover including Durtal, La Flèche, Le Lion d’Angers, Chateauneuf sur Sarthe and Angers. The meandering river valley of the Mayenne is well worth exploring.
Tastefully restored with the owners living in the château 100 yards away. The swimming pool (10x5m), shared with the owners, is tucked away between the château and the house and surrounded by trees and flowers. La Ferme is quite separate with a large garden area and a river to one side. Garden furniture, parasol and barbecue.
