This is a large domaine at the end of a small track hidden behind the Pech Lagarde, which is one of the typical Quercy hills. Located 20kms south west of Cahors, the domain is part of Quercy Blanc which distinguishes itself from the other areas by its white stone houses and majestic castles. In Montcuq (10km) there is a good weekly market on Sundays, a farmers’ market on Thursdays and in high season occasional night markets, as well as shops, restaurants and a swimming lake with a sandy beach. Sauzet is 8km away and has a few shops and a restaurant.

The Domaine looks impressive and consists of 2 buildings.

The Main House (sleeps 6). You enter via an outside set of stone stairs into the main living room which has a dining table with chairs, a sofa and 2 armchairs; at one end is a door to a double bedroom, at the other end is a doorway to the kitchen with oven and hob as well as fridge, dishwasher and microwave. In front of the main entrance door, another doorway leads to a back entrance hall with some seating, off which is a separate WC, a cellar with a washing machine and a corridor to a twin bedroom, a bathroom with bath, shower and WC, and a set of stairs to an upper level which is an unfurnished children’s playroom. Also, with outside access only, on the side of this building is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room/WC.

The Grange (sleeps 4). You enter from the covered terrace into a fitted kitchen with cooker and fridge. Upstairs are a children’s bedroom with bunk beds and a shower room/WC. Up 3 steps is a bedroom with a double bed plus extra single bed.
The 10m x 4m swimming pool is on a slightly higher piece of ground which is reached by a set of stone steps from the Main House.

Apart from July and August the Main House can be rented by itself at special rates, in which case the Grange remains empty. Both the Main House and the Grange have good heating systems and can be rented out of season.
