About seven minutes walk from the typical unspoilt country village with a bakery, butcher, small grocery store, local bar/restaurant offering a daily good value menu and, during the summer, a take away pizzeria. Lamalou, about 10 minutes drive away, has a casino, spa, restaurants and nine hole golf course. The area is wonderful for walking or cycling (bike hire locally June to September), and with the Gorges d’Heric just behind, there are lovely walks leaving from the house itself. An old disused railway line in the valley has been transformed into a 20 mile walking/bicycle track to St Pons viaOlargues about four miles away which has an excellent restaurant. Canoeing locally and plenty of vineyards to visit, including the well known St Chinian. Sandy Mediterranean beaches are about an hour’s drive, and the Canal du Midi about 45 minutes’ drive.

The house is set in a private enclosed Mediterranean style garden with mature shrubs and trees and surrounded by a high hedge. The covered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue overlooks the oval pool, (10x5m) with sun beds. Parking for several cars.
