The property lies close to an old hamlet situated in beautiful forested countryside below the spectacular backdrop of the Cirque du Bout du Monde, the southern cliffs of the plateau of the Grandes Causses, one of the last outcrops of the Cévennes before the coastal belt and the sea. Be sure to visit La Couvertoirade, a city of the Knight Templars, and the breathtaking Cirque de Navacelles, both only a short drive to the north. A little further north and west, you can visit Roquefort where the famous cheese is produced. Local shopping is very basic but the small historic town of Lodève (8km south) provides full facilities, shops, cafés and restaurants. We recommend also visiting St. Guilhem-le-Désert, an enchanting mediaeval village on a historic pilgrims' route in the equally beautiful Gorges de L'Hérault slightly further to the south-east. The towns of Millau to the north and Béziers and Montpellier to the south and east, are all within an hour's drive from the property. You can also go windsurfing and swimming in the large freshwater Lac de Salagou.

This villa, constructed all on one level, is set in an enclosed garden of 1700m2 mostly laid to lawn. The part covered terrace adjoins its swimming pool (9.5m x 4m x 2m max. depth) and solarium. The property is provided with a garage and a built-in barbecue.
