Description
The village of La Tour sur Orb is three minutes’ drive away as is a good supermarket and tennis courts, with more extensive shopping, restaurants and bars at Bedarieux just four miles away. The spa town of Lamalou-les-Bains with its casino, golf course, horse riding and wide range of restaurants is just 10 miles away. There are many vineyards in this region with beautiful villages and ideal countryside for walking. The villa borders on the Parc Naturel du Languedoc with Lac Salagou nearby with its non-motorised water sports.
A sense of peace and tranquiility surrounds the house. You can spend the sunshine hours around the pool (8x4.5m and fenced) soaking up the rays or sit under the front porch amidst the jasmine and passion flowers admiring the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. At the rear of the villa enjoy ‘al fresco’ diniing to the sound of the river below with a view of the lush green canopy of trees that line its banks. Or retreat to the lower terrace for quiet relaxation. Fishing is possible with a permit that can be bought locally. Table tennis, boules area and barbecue.
