Originally a 12th century priory to the Abbey of Lagrasse, converted into a vineyard domaine in the early 18th century, this imposing property is now an elegant country home, great for family gatherings.

Spacious living rooms are decorated with antiques, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. All bedrooms have pool and garden views. Al fresco living is delightful when enjoyed in mediterranean flower filled gardens under the 16th century clock tower.

Set in the Corbieres region of the Languedoc there are a wealth of attractions nearby. Visit the pretty costal town of Collioure, eat fresh fish at Port Vendres, imagine medieval life in the walled city of Carcassonne.

Friendly Guardians reside in an adjoining cottage. They will cook, baby-sit or shop if requested.

Grounds: Courtyard with plumbago, bougainvillea, campis & palms. Walled 2 acre park with box hedging & trees. Table tennis in covered games room, barbecue. (The caretakers property is accessed through, and overlooks part of the courtyard).
The annual 'vendange' takes place each year in September. The 'Winery' is not far from the house: out of sight, but possibly audible.
