The house is in a truly wonderful position with stunning views to the north-west, over the Céou valley, towards Domme. It is situated about 2km from the village of Daglan, which is on the banks of the Céou, which flows into the Dordogne river, at Castelnau 10km away. There is a village shop, a bakery as well as restaurants and a bar. This is a lovely part of the Dordogne and there is lots to see: the fabulous Château at Castelnaud, the lovely villages of Beynac, Laroque, Limeuil and of course the gorgeous medieval architecture of Sarlat and its vibrantly colourful Saturday market, just 22km away. The Céou flowing through flower filled meadows provides many pretty places to picnic.
The main room is the open-plan living/dining room with comfortable seating, a TV and DVD at one end, plus a dining table and chairs and windows which enjoy the wonderful view and which give access to the terrace in front of the pool. There is a kitchen area with fitted cupboards, a microwave plus normal oven, a washing machine and dishwasher. On the ground floor is also a double bedroom, a shower room and a separate WC. Stairs rise to the first floor on which are two more bedrooms each with twin beds, a bathroom and separate WC. The house has underfloor heating on the ground floor and radiators on the first floor.
Outside is a 14m x 7m swimming pool from which there are wonderful views, and masses of grassy space around the house, and table tennis.
