Nearest shops, restaurants, banks, tennis and bike hire a short drive at St-Yrieix-la-Perche or Jumilhac-le-Grand, with famous château, both less than 10 min drive. Château is floodlit at night and dinner in nearby restaurant overlooking both the lovely fountain and the château is a must. Lots of activities on site such as archery and pottery. The owner is a potter and is happy for clients to come and watch him work or give lessons for a small fee. If you enjoy history, you may follow the 'route of Richard Coeur de Lion' around neighbouring towns. Limoges with its famous porcelain factories and golf is 50 min drive and Périgueux with its shopping lanes and Byzantine-style cathedral 1 hour. International airport Limoges 53 km.
