Canoeing and tennis courts nearby. 20 minutes from Bergerac so ideally placed for visiting its old cobbled streets and only a short drive from a choice of vineyards and walnut groves. Tremolat with its impressive view from the Cingle and Sarlat are within easy reach. Pretty riverside villages of Beynac and la Roque Gageac, are also close by and the ideal way to see these villages is from a canoe on the river! International airport Bergerac 18km.

With superb views of the Couze valley, this is a small chateau belonging to the great Perigordine families of Abzac until the 16th century and with the Calvimont since the 16th century, with dungeon dating back to the 11th century (not part of the accommodation offered!) There is a large garden with mature trees and some surrounding fields offering in all some 5 hectares, the private pool is 5 x11 x 1.2-2m depth with security alarm. BBQ.
