This lovely house is located outside the small village of Bellon in a quiet area, and is an easy distance (8km) to the beautiful hilltop village of Aubeterre sur Dronne, which is classified as one of France’s prettiest villages and has many restaurants and cafés. The River Dronne, around which the village has been built, is now arranged with a sandy beach, tennis courts and a canoeing base that you can enjoy daily as it is only a 5 minute drive from the house. Many pretty villages are nearby (Bonnes, Saint Séverin, and Les Essards) and the larger centres of Perigueux, Cognac and Angoulême are all about one hour away.

The property has nice sliding glass windows which give the living room a light and modern touch. The whole house has been very carefully laid out and overflows with nice details. You can enter either via those doors or into the modern kitchen equipped with dishwasher, microwave and normal cooker. This opens onto the living room with dining table and chairs to seat 10, as well as comfortable seating, a satellite TV, a DVD and CD player. Off here is the master double bedroom and an en-suite shower room/WC, and on the other side, another double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. A separate WC and a utility room with washing machine plus dryer are also accessible from the living room. 
On the first floor is a bathroom/WC and two bedrooms; one with a double bed and a sofa bed, and the other suitable for children has 2 single beds and a small double bed (for 2 children).
Outside is the garden with flowers and trees and the pool area, which you reach via an outside door or via the garden house. The heated swimming pool is 10m x 6m and has massage jets in one corner. The garden house has a summer kitchen, with dishwasher, fridge, oven and hobs as well as with a Mediterranean style ‘sleeping area’. 
The house has a telephone, central heating, and a garage. The owner also kindly leaves bicycles for clients’ use.
