Vidauban has two excellent restaurants. It is ideally placed to explore the Var, St Tropez coastline, and eastern Provence. Lorgues has one of the major markets in the region every Tuesday. Salernes is renowned for its potteries and Tourtour, known as the ‘village in the sky’ has breathtaking views. The villages of Cotignac and Villecroze are set against a natural backdrop of caves.

Delightful Aix-en-Provence is within 1 hours drive, as is the Gorge de Verdon, one of the most spectacular sights in Europe. Here there are endless opportunities for the adventurer from hiking, mountain biking, climbing, canoeing and white water rafting, as well as sailing on Lac de Ste. Croix

Closer to home are two 18-hole golf courses, horse riding, adventure playgrounds and quad biking.
