Les Toits Roses is newly built using local stone and old Provencal roof tiles. Lorgues has one of the major markets in the region every Tuesday, and is home to the famous ' Bruno' truffle restaurant. There are many stunning towns and villages within 20-40 mins drive, such as Tourtour, known as the 'village in the sky', Entrecasteaux with its marvellous Chateau and gardens, Villecroze and Salernes, famous for its pottery. There is a fabulous 12th century Cistercian monastery just 15 minutes away, the Abbey de Thoronet.

The Gorge du Verdon is considered to be one of the most spectacular in Europe and offers plenty of opportunity for canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking. The vast Lac de Ste Croix has lovely beaches and yet more watersports. There are 2 good 18 hole golf courses within 30 minutes.
