La Maison Lavande is a lovely, traditional Provencal house in the heart of Provence, just outside the medieval village of Chateaudouble. It has been furnished in keeping with the traditional style and enjoys superb views over the surrounding mountains and vineyards. It is well placed for visiting the charming local villages and also the beaches and resorts along the south coast.

The house is furnished in an inviting country style and the accommodation comprises: Living room with television and VCR and French windows to the terrace and pool. The fully-fitted kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, ceramic hobs, dishwasher and breakfast table and there is a separate dining room. There is also a shower room on the ground floor which also houses the washing machine.

The bedrooms are located on the first floor. The double Master bedroom has a wood burning stove and ceiling fan. There is an further double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. There is also a second shower room on this level.

The private swimming pool (approx. 8.5 x 4.5m) is just outside the house and is free-form, with a Jacuzzi area with jet streams. It is surrounded by terracing and sunloungers. There is an outside eating area, ideal for dining al fresco and enjoying the warm summer evenings. The villa is set in extensive grounds with lawned areas and olive trees and gravel surrounding the terrace.
