Built high on a hill overlooking the gulf of Porto Vecchio to the mountains beyond, this villa boasts an exceptional situation with outstanding views. The construction of the villa has been a labour of love for the owners who took years to achieve their goal. Each stone, which makes up the villa walls has been chosen from the grounds and hills near the villa, and the pool area has been carefully built to enhance the beauty of the surrounding nature. The wooden terrace at the front of the villa has been recently extended providing an ideal spot to soak up the sun and the views. Despite the intimacy of the villa, it is very well located for evenings out in Porto Vecchio with its attractive walled town, Port de Plaisance and the wide choice of restaurants. The beaches of Palombaggia and St Giulia are 10 minutes drive; and you should not miss a trip to the town of Bonifacio or the mountain scenery via the Lac de L’Ospedale.

To maintain the charm of the villa the stonework has been continued throughout the interior, which is simply but attractively decorated. The sitting/dining room area has a comfy leather sofa and armchairs, a large open fireplace, a stereo with CD player, a TV and DVD. The French Windows open out onto the shaded terrace ideal for evening meals cooked from the barbecue. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas rings and electric oven; behind the kitchen is a small utility room with a washing machine. The shower room and separate WC is located up a few steps from the sitting room. There is one twin bedroom, one double bedroom and a third bedroom with a double bed and a door to an outside terrace.  The private 10m x 5m swimming pool is located at the side of the villa and has sun loungers and an outside shower. A gate leads from the parking area, down some steps to the villa.
