This villa is just 4 minutes drive from the village of Lumio which has 2 restaurants, and about 5 minutes from the sandy beach of Arinella which has an excellent restaurant open at lunchtime and in the evening when candlelit tables are put out on the beach. From the minute you see the sturdy oak door of Villa Noel with its pattern of wheatsheaves and olives carved into the thick oak, you feel you have arrived at a special place. Set in its own grove of oak trees, this villa has been built recently, but finished to the highest standards using traditional materials.

You enter the house via the covered breakfast terrace into a hallway that leads to a large and spacious sitting room to the front, and to a spacious and well equipped kitchen to the left. This has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher and a family dining table and chairs. A door opens onto the garden at the side of the house and French windows open onto the magnificent front terrace with panoramic views over the curving bay to the ancient citadel of Calvi. A door leads from the kitchen into the good sized dining area with table and chairs and the large main sitting room beyond. Here there are big, comfortable white sofas and chair and both parts of this large room have French windows onto the front terrace itself furnished with large parasol, table, chairs, plus gas BBQ at one end, and comfortable sun loungers at the other. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor, two with a double bed and French windows opening onto the garden with views to the sea. Another twin bedroom is situated next to the lovely bathroom with large spa bath, basin and separate tiled shower. There is a separate WC. An open staircase leads up from the hallway to the master suite, which has its own balcony with wonderful views to Calvi and the mountains. It also has its own large bathroom with spa bath, basin and WC; there is a further, second balcony at the back of the house with fantastic views to the mountains and the picturesque and ancient village of Lumio set on the hillside. A 10m x 5m swimming pool is set in pleasant grounds with an olive grove.
