The village has a grocery store/bakery, two bars and a tennis court within easy walking distance. Semur-en Auxois, an enchanting medieval town is six miles away, with a good variety of restaurants, and three supermarkets. The wine growing areas of Côte de Beaune, Côte de Nuits, Chablis and Côte d’Auxerre are all one hour’s drive away. Lac du Pont, a man made lake where you can walk, swim, canoe, wind surf and water-ski is ten minutes’ drive. Golf courses and horse riding close by. The Burgundy canal passes through the village and bicycles can be hired from the owners to explore the tow path and country lanes around the cottage.

Entrance into a small courtyard with steps to the living room, enclosed parking and garage. Further short flight of steps leads to the grassy south facing garden with garden furniture and barbecue and from which five steps bring you to the kitchen entrance.
