At the edge of the forest of Othe, Chamoy is a pleasant village with food shops. For more extensive shopping, Saint Florentin with its Monday market and old town centre is 15 miles away. Troyes and its cathedral with stained glass and many other riches is also renowned for its textiles. Within easy reach, and not to be missed, are the towns of Auxerre, Chablis, Tonnerre, Sens and its cathedral. Reims with its champagne caves and its wonderful cathedral, Fontainebleau and its château are certainly worth a visit. The amusement park Nigloland is an hour away and Disneyland Paris is only a two hour drive.

The two and a half acres of land around the property include an orchard which offers a large area for the children to play safely. The discreet owners live in a separate property on site. The swimming pool (12x5m) has a retractable cover which is ideal in early season. It is also possible to bathe in the evening as the terrace and the pool can be illuminated (please request). It is shared with La Roseraie (sleeps 4, also for rent with Just France) situated on the floor beneath La Marronniere.

This first floor apartment, with separate garden and access (via external open-tread spiral steps), is decorated in comfortable style and has an open plan fitted well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. There is a dining room, and a lounge area with a fireplace, two sofas and four armchairs. There are two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms sharing two shower rooms and two wc. Washing machine. Electricity above 56kw is payable locally. Bed linen included and beds made on arrival.
